2006 Good Toy Awards

July 2006: Exciting news from JCB Toys - the JCB Wooden Backhoe and the JCB Fastrac & Trailer have just won a prestigious Gold Award and a ‘Best in the 12-36 months’ category at the 2006/07 Good Toy Awards.

Hosted by the National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries (NATLL) under the banner ‘Play Matters’, all the toys entered into the awards are tested by children all around the UK and it is theirfeedback that decides who wins the awards.

This is a significant achievement for the range, launched less than 12 months ago. The wooden JCB toys are hand built and made from solid birch wood which comes from indigenous Forests that are sensitively managed.All paints and varnishes are non-toxic and the products are packaged in a strong, recycled cardboard box

There are 2 toys in the range, firstly, the JCB Wooden Fasttrac & Trailer, featuring front wheel steering with a detachable trailer loaded with 8 separateplay blocks. This is suitable from 12 months. The JCB Wooden Backhoe features fully working front and rearbuckets as well as front wheel steering. It is suitable from 2 years +.
